The PMA.INI file is used by montel for configuration settings so that MonTel can interface with the Practise Management Accounting System.
This means importing and export to and from the external accounting system (PMA) and settings that affect how MonTel treats client and disbursement data, for example A client has many matters or each of many matters has only one client or each client has only a small number of matter types. The PMA.INI file should be complete at installation, and any changes that need to be should be considered very carefully as they could have wide impact on the system.
The format of a PMA.INI file is just like the familiar Windows 3 "INI" files. There are a number of sections, (or section titles) delineated by square brackets, and a number of entries. Each entry has a variable name, usually an equals sign, and then the values that are to be assigned to that variable.
