Please note that ISDN has timed local calls, and doesn't receive some of the special rates that PSTN calls do (e.g. $3.00 STD calls after 7pm). If you have Telstra OnRamp this is an ISDN service and you are paying for TIMED Local calls!!! The actual rate is 18 cents for the first 4 minutes, and 4 cents per minute afterwards.
If you are unsure if you have Telstra OnRamp check near your PABX. Look on the wall for a small white/grey box near the PABX about the size of a modem. If you see Telstra OnRamp written on it then use ISDN for the RateCodeFileName or else you could check with your Telstra account rep. I don't think anyone is using pulses (PULS).
MonTel supports 3 different rate codes which can be set in PABX.INI in the [Phones] section:
RateCodeFileName = pstn ;
The rate code file can be, ISDN, PSTN or PULS (for Pulse metering).
At this stage only one can be chosen at a time - and is not affected by the trunk route designation. Ordinary phone lines are PSTN.
