Happy new year!
The latest release of MonTel (2.9.55) is up on the web site. This release fixes some problems with the previous release of the MonTel Server, and adds a couple of features. Also, ServerCN now has all the serial settings working, (some were still broken causing access 11 errors).
MonTel and Notify are now prevented from running multiple instances on the same computer.
Plus, Instmon now has more sensible set up default values for new installs.
MonTel Server will now create blank records for all users (optionally) when it starts, so won't need to wait for call records to see if a client is working.
(It will also help you check if the users details in the PABX.INI file have been set up correctly.)
Details at the bottom of http://www.netwiz.com.au/appnotes/i2642.htm.
The previous release introduced local caching, so that in the event of a network failure, the MonTel Server would store serial data locally, and replay it once the network connection was re-established (possibly after a restart).
If you installed MonTel 2.9.54 this update is required. Otherwise it is a recommended update.
