In Telephone Extension List, Groups are used to allow generic departments. Groups really come into use in MonTel, where user directories may be present in different locations. This allows you to override the default directory locations on a user or group of users basis.
Part of the Groups setting Used by: Client, Server.
Example:
Groups = FS1, NETWIZ_1, NETWIZ_2
This is the Code or key name part of an entry in the Groups list. In this example NETWIZ_1 is highlighted as a Group Key, though FS1 and NETWIZ_2 are also group keys.
This field displays the selected key name (or the default settings), which will allow you to edit or change the key (note that this will cause exiting references to this key to be invalid).
This is not an option or an element stored in the PABX.INI file.
When this is checked the Default Department key in not included in the PABX.INI file, and therefore any user in this group will use the Default department (as detailed in the department section).
